Family Day Out to the West Side Market
Weekends are the best time for families to go out together and have fun. It is also a great time for families to bond, learn and play together. To make life a little easier on the adults, renting or chartering a bus for family outings is definitely a thumbs up idea. Not only will the adults be able to enjoy the comfort of being driven around and not having to pay attention to the road, the children will have fun riding in the Ohio charter bus with their parents too - something that they do not usually get to do.
One fun activity to do with the children on a Saturday is to take them down to the West Side Market in Cleveland, Ohio. It is considered to be the pride of Cleveland - being the oldest publicly owned market. It began as an open air marketplace on a piece of land donated by two Ohio city landowners, Josiah Barber and Richard Lord and has since gone through much development and change. The last major renovation works done was back in 2004, where the arcade portion of the market was enclosed and heated while major interior and architectural renovations were completed in the main building. Now, the market is home to over 100 vendors of vast ethnic diversity.
Chartering a bus down to the West Side Market will be a trip that you and family can truly enjoy because it is a food haven for food lovers. At this notable marketplace, not only will you find fine meats and fresh vegetables, they also have fresh seafood, baked goods, dairy and cheese products. The kids will get to enjoy sampling candies too!
At the West Side Market, they also have booths that sell ready-to-eat food, candies, nuts and herbs. In fact, tourists from around the world would visit the market just to experience what it feels like to be in a market with so many diverse vendors of different nationalities. It is also an interesting place to learn about the Cleveland history, other than getting some fresh produce and midwestern delicacies. Most children would enjoy the West Side Market because of its uniqueness and the almost unlimited choices of free samples that they can get from the vendors’ booths and stands.
Having spent the day with your family shopping and eating at the West Side Market, you will be glad to know that you don’t have drive home if you have already arranged to charter a bus for this trip.

On-site amenities include heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, entertainment rooms with video games for children, a fitness gym, outdoor activity courts for tennis and basketball, and a restaurant that serves classic North American cuisine. The lodge's 18-hole golf course was given a four-star rating by Golf Digest magazine. The course covers 250 acres made up of smooth greens and rolling hills, and it has many uphill shots that add a challenging twist for Ohio charter bus golfers to an otherwise ordinary course. Look for wildlife throughout the course, such as deer and flocks of wild turkeys.
The Atwood Lake Resort and Conference Center is perched on the tranquil shores of Atwood Lake. The resort has an 18-hole championship course and a par-3 nine-hole course that's perfect for charter bus golfers who are beginners. The Toledo Museum of Art
Despite being such a small city, as compared to other larger sister cities in and around it, Toledo DOES have one of the most awesome museum of art there is. It is interesting and large enough to qualify as one of Ohio's most jaw-dropping museum of all times! Don't believe us, just head over to this amazing museum of art to see for yourself and if you have the time to organize a group charter bus trip, you should, especially if you are a fan of history, culture, entertainment, lifestyle and of course, art.
Suffice to say, many wished that the Manet exhibit was a permanent feature for the museum, because many people made their way in their large rented party bus, tour bus, charter bus or other group rental vehicles just to see the renowned Manet exhibit, all the other more permanent exhibits are well worth a check as well. The Manet exhibit has been and will always be a world class exhibit, something that you don't see all the time in a small town like Toledo.
Over the course of time, the museum's exterior has undergone some facelift because the building has been around since the museum came into operation in 1901. Suffice to say, the world class exhibit has earned the Toledo Museum of Art a name and reputation as one of the world's top quality museum with an extensive world class exhibits. To top it all off, they offer extensive programs to teach those who are interested in art.
The programs brings interested visitors all the way back to the history of glass art, American and European painting, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Asian and African artistic styles too. It basically introduces you to a world where the imagination comes alive and this will become your chance to push your imagination and its boundaries a little further.
Make no mistake about it; the museum does introduce you to age-old art forms but they are very open to ideas and have much to teach about decorative, sculpture, graphic, modern and contemporary art too – a visit to this museum is a true eye-opener for anyone who is interested in art, let's just say.
The museum started off as a two-room facility with humble space for any kind of exhibit that they can get their hands on...and they have doubtlessly come a long way since then because with the rapid expansion of their facility, building and grounds, they now have thirty six acres worth of exhibition space! The museum has two floors of space with forty five galleries for visitors to explore and also concert hall that can seat up to a thousand seven hundred and fifty people at any one given time.
