Family Day Out to the West Side Market

Weekends are the best time for families to go out together and have fun. It is also a great time for families to bond, learn and play together. To make life a little easier on the adults, renting or chartering a bus for family outings is definitely a thumbs up idea. Not only will the adults be able to enjoy the comfort of being driven around and not having to pay attention to the road, the children will have fun riding in the Ohio charter bus with their parents too - something that they do not usually get to do.
One fun activity to do with the children on a Saturday is to take them down to the West Side Market in Cleveland, Ohio. It is considered to be the pride of Cleveland - being the oldest publicly owned market. It began as an open air marketplace on a piece of land donated by two Ohio city landowners, Josiah Barber and Richard Lord and has since gone through much development and change. The last major renovation works done was back in 2004, where the arcade portion of the market was enclosed and heated while major interior and architectural renovations were completed in the main building. Now, the market is home to over 100 vendors of vast ethnic diversity.
Chartering a bus down to the West Side Market will be a trip that you and family can truly enjoy because it is a food haven for food lovers. At this notable marketplace, not only will you find fine meats and fresh vegetables, they also have fresh seafood, baked goods, dairy and cheese products. The kids will get to enjoy sampling candies too!
At the West Side Market, they also have booths that sell ready-to-eat food, candies, nuts and herbs. In fact, tourists from around the world would visit the market just to experience what it feels like to be in a market with so many diverse vendors of different nationalities. It is also an interesting place to learn about the Cleveland history, other than getting some fresh produce and midwestern delicacies. Most children would enjoy the West Side Market because of its uniqueness and the almost unlimited choices of free samples that they can get from the vendors’ booths and stands.
Having spent the day with your family shopping and eating at the West Side Market, you will be glad to know that you don’t have drive home if you have already arranged to charter a bus for this trip.
